✨ WHO WE ARE ?​

​​

Donne-Moi Des Ailes is a non-profit organization (law 1901) founded in 2020 by Jean-Philippe Kakou-Marceau.
Our mission is to restore hope to the most vulnerable and provide them with the means to reintegrate into society sustainably.

🌱 Our Origins

​

Before the creation of Donne-Moi Des Ailes, its founder already had extensive experience in community service.
In 2007, he co-founded Solid’Act, an association focused on education and youth integration in Côte d'Ivoire.
For over 10 years, this initiative implemented educational support and reintegration programs before merging with Donne-Moi Des Ailes for a more structured and expanded approach.

🚀 Since 2020: Concrete Actions & Growing Impact

​

Since its creation in 2020, Donne-Moi Des Ailes has launched several high-impact social projects:

📌 2020 – Opening of the first "Donne-Moi Des Ailes" home, a dedicated space for orphaned young adults to support their transition to independence.
📌 2024 – Distribution of 5,000 meals to those in need, reinforcing our commitment to fighting food insecurity.
📌 2024 – Expansion of our center, allowing us to accommodate and educate ten young students in higher education, including four at the Master’s level.

We are supported by a dedicated team of ten active members between France and Côte d’Ivoire, along with over a hundred volunteers who work daily to advance our mission.

🏠 THE ORPHANAGE WE SUPPORT

​​

Le Prince Orphanage, located in Grand-Bassam, Côte d'Ivoire, is a safe haven for children aged 5 to 18.
Founded in 2005, it currently shelters over 30 children, providing them with education, a healthy living environment, and emotional stability.

💙 But this balance is at risk. Without sufficient funding, it becomes impossible to guarantee daily meals, medical care, and proper schooling.

Thanks to our partner NGO EMSF, we ensure rigorous and effective resource management, so that every donation is directly used to improve the lives of these children.

📌 OUR LONG-TERM GOALS

​

🔹 Tier 2: Modernizing the orphanage (renovating dormitories, upgrading school equipment, and enhancing educational and sports activities).

🔹 Tier 3: Building a new orphanage to accommodate even more children and provide them with an optimal living environment.
 

📢 But today, the urgency is different: we must first ensure essential needs are met.
